Description:
The Windows Sidebar boosts personal productivity by enabling access to "Gadgets", a new class of customizable mini-applications. Learn how gadgets can enable you to extend your reach to the client, increasing your visibility with your customer base, while delivering ambient information and value to the end user. The gadget platform leverages standard DHTML and enables designers and developers to build gadgets that integrate with Web services, the Windows platform and applications. This comprehensive session walks through the platform and includes a how-to component where we illustrate the process of gadget development using real-world examples.
